The Moneymaker's, Highland Meadows

Gosh, what an experience is what you must have said after closing 1601 Blue Forest Drive. Or, even better, "the Moneymaker's must have signed 4, 5, or 6 contracts...geez, what a task and experience" and "boy, I'm glad that's over!"

Yes, we wanted a "dog room". You probably had never met anyone that needed such a great place for their dogs to hang out in all day, huh? One of your thoughts must have been, "What's next"? The redesign of the dining room. Sure, simple for you...but for me, I couldn't even begin to tell you how many nights I was looking over the plans and trying to figure out how you going to get the foyer and dining room to work since I had to have that "picture" hang perfectly in the entrance. I laugh now, but thankful we found a way to make it work! I LOVE MY HOUSE! Thanks to you and Tom, I got the lot that worked best for me and my circle drive, yeah!

Dave, you are a very patient person and you build a quality house. That is what we wanted and that is what we got, thank you!! I'm glad I've had the opportunity to get to know you.

When we decided to escape the asphalt jungle (Plano) and head to suburban-country (new name for Prosper), we were asking friends of ours that live in Celina who they would recommend. Dave R's name kept coming up. The day before closing on our new house in Prosper (May 31st, 2003), a very negative article on MUDS in Prosper appeared in the Dallas Morning News. A little concerned, I faxed the article to Dave R. who responded back by fax that very afternoon discussing his viewpoints on the proposed MUDS and that Prosper will ba great place to live and raise a family. He convinced me to come on out.

We really appreciate all the things that Dave R. (and team) has done for homebuilding in Prosper and the numerous contributions he has made to the town of Prosper.

Dave is a great homebuilder. He also surrounds himself with good people. It was a very good experience that we had with everyone in building our home. The nice thing about it is that we are able to continue having a great relationship with all those who were involved.

Mark and I really love our house and plan on living here for quite some time. I always tell him that the next place we move will be assisted living. Building our house was a very pleasant experience for us and we are quite happy. We love our neighborhood and have had some really great times here.

We are happy that we just happen to come across Highland Meadows one afternoon. It was nice that we also came across such a nice builder!

One of his most distinguishing attributes is his "service after the sale". Dave, I wanted to send you a note to say how pleased my wife and I were with the process we experienced with your sales team this past weekend. Both Tom and Patty were very helpful and allowed us to ask all the questions we wanted. In a relocation move, you have limited time to find a new home and you need to have a strong comfort level that you are dealing with knowledgeable and reputable people. After signing the purchase agreement on Saturday night, we walked away feeling very comfortable with our decision, primarily because of the positive way we were treated. Obviously, there is some concern in buying a home that you cannot visualize as being completed (since there is no model); however, the detail and craftsmanship we saw in the completed home you have for sale gave us confidence that our home would be finished with the same high standards. We look forward to moving ahead with the construction process (even thought it may offer some challenges doing it from California) and ultimately moving into the new home upon its completion.

Monet and I want to thank you for building us a wonderful home. We are very happy. I could go on about the many things we love about our home. We love the quality, look and feel of our house throughout. The list of things we like ranges from the little things like the heft and feel of the doors as they open and close to big things like the fireplace, custom built cabinets, office and entertainment center, hardwood floors and extensive trim work. All of the rooms are spacious and more, than meet all of our expectations and needs.

We were tough buyers on you and your team during the construction process.

In hindsight, our nitpicking was over the line. We certainly apologize for that. We have looked at each other and wonder what we were worried about....I guess our excuse for being overly picky was that this is by far the biggest investment we have ever made and we also purchased from a blueprint and did not have a finished product to use as a yardstick for this model. You told us to trust you, you have built over 300 homes and that we would be happy. You were right. Your reputation for quality and integrity were delivered.

I saw recently that you were received an award as the Most Outstanding Builder in the Dallas market. You would receive our vote as well. You can be certain that we will join the ranks of your satisfied customers that serve as ambassadors for DRW Homes.

We also appreciated the support of your team along the process. Tom and Helen Bolen were terrific representatives during the sale process. Don Newell is not only an outstanding construction manager, he is a very nice man to work with along the way. The closing was smooth and flawless, the accounting and pre-closing forms prepared by Patty DiVeronica were always absolutely correct, accurate and easy to understand. Kim Ravelli also professionally coordinated all of our appointments.

Thanks again for all of your efforts to build our home. We look forward too many happy years in Prosper. Feel free to stop by anytime and look at the finished product.
